FlickaPuck

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

This policy explains how the developer of FlickaPuck (fomand, “we”) handles information when you use the game or contact support. For privacy questions, contact fomand@gmail.com.

Information used by the game

The game saves progress, high scores, unlocked themes, tutorial status, purchase entitlement, language, and audio and haptic settings on your device. You do not need to create an account to play.

We use Amplitude for analytics and Google AdMob to display advertisements. These services receive information from the app as described below. Device or app identifiers can link activity across sessions; this information is not necessarily anonymous.

Analytics with Amplitude

We use analytics to understand how the game is played and improve its balance and experience. Events include level progression and completion in the Lazy River and Lava Flow modes, theme unlocks, difficulty selections, onboarding completion, palette interactions, advertisements and rewarded-ad completion, prompts to review the app, and full-game purchases and restorations.

Amplitude may receive an app or device identifier, session information, event timestamps, app version, device model, operating system, language, and IP address. An IP address may be used to infer approximate location. We do not ask you to provide your name or email address for gameplay analytics.

See Amplitude’s privacy notice for information about its processing of personal information.

Advertising with Google AdMob

AdMob and its advertising partners process information to deliver and measure advertisements, prevent fraud, and maintain their services. This may include IP address and approximate location, device or app identifiers, advertising identifiers when available, ads shown and interactions with them, and crash and performance diagnostics.

Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on applicable requirements, consent, device permissions, and service settings. Non-personalized ads can still involve processing identifiers and other data for purposes such as measurement, frequency limits, and fraud prevention.

In-app purchases

The full-game purchase is processed through the app store using Unity In-App Purchasing. The app receives purchase and transaction information needed to grant, confirm, and restore access, such as product identifiers, purchase status, and transaction records or receipts. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple or the relevant app store processes payment information under its own privacy policy. Purchase and restoration events are also recorded in Amplitude.

See Apple’s privacy policy and Unity’s game player privacy information.

Permissions and choices

On iOS, you can manage the app’s tracking permission in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining tracking permission restricts access to the advertising identifier; it does not turn off all analytics or all advertising data collection. Advertising consent messages may also be shown depending on your region and the app’s consent flow.

To ask about your information or exercise privacy rights, email us. Deleting the app removes its locally stored settings and progress, but does not automatically delete information already transmitted to analytics or advertising services.

Support communications

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments or device details you choose to share. We use this information to respond and investigate your request. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is unnecessary for support.

Sharing, storage, and retention

Information is processed by Amplitude, Google and relevant advertising partners, the app store and Unity’s purchasing services as applicable, and service providers used to handle support communications. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect rights and prevent abuse.

These services may process information in countries outside your country of residence. Their applicable privacy terms describe their international processing and safeguards.

We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described here, subject to service retention settings and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by information type and provider. We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact us to make a request. We may need information to verify your request and identify the relevant app or device records. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Where applicable, processing is based on consent, our legitimate interests in improving and protecting the game and answering support requests, or compliance with legal obligations. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Children’s privacy

We do not ask players to submit their age or knowingly collect children’s personal information through support. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
